Acerca de esta piedra
Some spheres are beautiful. This one is a revelation.
At 15 centimeters across and weighing over seven kilograms, this is a sphere you feel before you fully see it — substantial, grounded, the kind of piece that anchors a room simply by existing in it. But the real story is what's inside.
Rotate it once and you're looking at a deep amethyst core, the chevron crystals stacked like folded violet silk, their natural terminations preserved beneath the polish. Rotate it again and the agate banding takes over — sweeping concentric rings in cream, rust, and warm honey, edged in a vivid thread of iron-red that catches the light like a fault line. Turn it once more and you find the contact zone: raw crystal texture bleeding into smooth banding, golden goethite inclusions glittering along the boundary, the whole geological story of this stone laid open in a single view.
This is what happens when an amethyst geode forms inside an agate nodule over millions of years, and someone has the skill — and the courage — to cut it into a sphere.
Comes with a turned rosewood display stand.
