The front face of this pegmatite specimen is studded with bright green tourmaline crystals — from tiny sparkling specs to bold prismatic rods — scattered across a creamy white feldspar matrix. Flip it over and the mood shifts entirely: the reverse is a soft wash of lavender-pink lepidolite mica, silky and glimmering. Tourmaline, feldspar, and lepidolite forming together in pegmatite is a classic geological partnership, but finding a single piece that showcases both faces so distinctly is something special.
